Safe Culture Process & Leverage Intervention

      We coach your Accreditation Team Leader, and the Executive Responsible for assuring a culture of safety and a non-hostile workplace.
      The goal is to have solid processes and documentation to support the claims and to obtain significant buy-in by, or leverage on the Disruptive Medical Professional.

      Purpose: We coach your Accreditation Team Leader, and the Executive Responsible for assuring a culture of safety and a non-hostile workplace. The goal is to have solid processes and documentation to support the claims and to obtain significant leverage on the Disruptive Medical Professional.

      Why we check documentation and policies:
      -Medical institutions are at great risk if they do not have behavior policies in place, and are using effective methods to document disruptive behavior.
      -Adequate documentation is best completed within a few days of any incident.
      -If there are no policies in place to get leverage on the Disruptive Medical Professional, then behavior will usually not change and risk cannot be reduced.

      Who we assist:
      -Your accreditation team leader.
      -Your Executive Managers who is responsible for assuring a safe patient environment and a Non-Hostile Workplace.

      What actions we take:
      -We offer a simple checklist and references from TJC.
      -We coach the accreditation team asking questions regarding standing behavior policies and how communication of these is documented.
      -We coach the accreditation team asking questions regarding policies on collecting reports and managing documentation of disruptive behavior.
      -We coach on how to get huge leverage on Medical Professionals.

      On Site- We use video conferencing and telephonic resources so these services are received on site.
